Introducing ‘Work in Progress’: A Way to Follow Ongoing Development

13 May 2015 / By John Blatchford
A big part of why we created KUNST was to follow the many development projects that are going on around Cincinnati. Not just to highlight finished or planned projects, but also the ones being rehabbed right now, as they happen. More than that, we wanted to highlight the little guys that you probably haven't heard of: the couple renovating their first building or the young entrepreneur working to build a real estate empire. The beauty of living in a city like Cincinnati at a time like this is that there are hundreds of these projects and people all around us. The problem is that despite the great work that our neighbors are doing to restore and enhance our historic buildings, there are few places for their work to be recognized. We hope to change that. And so, we introduce "Work in Progress": a look at the "hidden" projects and developers that are molding our city every day. You can follow all currently-being-rehabbed "Work in Progress" projects by clicking on the 'Work in Progress' category below. We hope to shed light on the people bringing art back into our built environment. Got a project? Shoot us an email.
